The 2013 vintage displays aromas of sweet cherry and plum entwined with earthy notes, rich clove and cinnamon spices. Fine tannins and fresh acidity balance and linger, with a hint of white pepper on the finish.
WINE MAKING NOTES Pinot noir is a thin skinned grape that needs to be treated with great finesse and respect. Handpicked and gently destemmed before partial whole berry fermentation in open Fermenters. The must was hand plunged frequently to produce the deeper colours and aromatic flavours. Then pressed off skins and maturated in French oak barriques.
