WINEMAKERS COMMENTS
The “Pear Tree” Range is the epitome of wines made from our estate vineyards. Individual parcels of fruit are hand selected and tasted in the vineyard to show the absolute character of Marlborough. Our goal is to show the terroir of the vineyard and surroundings are simply translated into a bottle.
FOOD MATCH
Pear Tree Pinot Gris should be enjoyed with lighter style foods like a smoked chicken and peach salad or a green pea risotto, that gives both the food and the wine a chance to shine through and compliment each other. Creamy style Brie cheeses or light blues at room temperature with a pear jelly are ideal and a great way to spend an evening enjoying with a glass.
