The name ‘Auvigue’ was already known in 1629 in the vineyards of Beaujolais and Mâconnais. Today, the grapes come from family estates covering 6 hectares including two that have been organically farmed for over 20 years in the Mâcon-Solutré and Pouilly-Fuissé appellations. To allow each parcel to present the unique microclimates, Jean-Pierre and Michel Auvigue always adapt the vinification process to the requirement of each plot. The wines are only lightly filtered before being bottled to retain all the elements required for the development of their true Burgundian nature. 

A pure expression of Chardonnay from a limestone soil. Aromas of white flowers and white stonefruit with a lovely freshness on the palate. Hints of undergrowth and hazelnut, slightly buttery with a generously round, acidic finish. Aging potential 1 to 3 years
